These terms are an agreement between you and [COMPANY LEGAL NAME] ("we", "us") for the PepBloom app. By using PepBloom you agree to them. Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies. Our Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy explain how we handle your data.
The short version
- You must be 18 or older.
- PepBloom is a tracker, not medical advice. It never recommends a dose: every dose and schedule in it is one you entered. Talk to your prescriber, and call your local emergency number in an emergency (911 in the US, 112 in Türkiye).
- What you enter belongs to you. You can export it at any time, even without a subscription, and delete it in the app.
- PepBloom needs a subscription, billed by Apple. New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. Plans renew automatically until you cancel in iPhone Settings, and refunds go through Apple.
1. Who can use PepBloom
You must be 18 or older. PepBloom is offered only in the countries where it's listed on the App Store.
2. PepBloom isn't medical advice
PepBloom helps you keep track of what you and your prescriber already decided. It doesn't diagnose, treat or prevent any condition, it isn't a medical device, and it doesn't replace a doctor, nurse or pharmacist.
- The calculator does math on your numbers and never recommends a dose. You type the amount of powder in your vial, the water you added and the dose you were prescribed. The calculator turns those into a concentration and a syringe reading. It never suggests a dose, a mix or a change. If you type a wrong number, the answer is wrong.
- Doses and schedules are yours. Every dose amount, step-up plan and schedule in PepBloom is one you entered. PepBloom reminds you about them; it doesn't choose them.
- The medication level chart is an estimate. It's drawn from published half-lives and the doses you logged. It isn't a blood test and can't tell you how much medication is actually in your body.
- The Research Library is for education. It summarizes published research and links its sources. Some substances in it aren't approved by the FDA for any use. Being in the library isn't a recommendation to take anything. We don't sell medications or link to sellers.
- The AI assistant can be wrong [IF SHIPPED], and it never picks a dose. Section 3 explains how it works.
- Nutrition data can be wrong. Food values come from Open Food Facts or from you, and estimates can be off.
Check every number before you inject. Talk to your prescriber before starting, stopping or changing any medication. If you think you're having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number (911 in the US, 112 in Türkiye).
3. The AI assistant [IF SHIPPED]
The assistant is off until you turn it on. Its answers come from Claude, an AI model made by Anthropic. Our Privacy Policy explains what it's sent and what's never sent.
- It can be wrong. AI answers can be incomplete or simply wrong. Treat them as something to check, not as medical advice.
- It never picks a dose. It explains things and fills in entries for you to confirm. It can't choose, suggest or change a dose; any dose amount it fills in must be one you typed or one already in your saved schedule.
- Nothing is saved until you confirm. Check every entry before you tap Confirm.
- It isn't for emergencies. If you think you're having a medical emergency, call your local emergency number.
4. Your account and data
The iPhone app asks you to sign in with Apple at the end of setup, which turns on an encrypted backup. Keep your device and recovery key safe. Your backup is encrypted with a key we never receive, so if you lose your phone's key and your recovery key, we can't restore your backup.
What you enter belongs to you. You give us permission to store and process it only to run PepBloom for you, as described in our privacy policies. You can export it at any time, even without a subscription, and delete it at any time in the app.
5. Fair use
Don't:
- copy, resell or reverse-engineer the app, except where the law allows it
- try to get into other people's data or our systems
- overload or misuse our servers or the AI assistant [IF SHIPPED], or use it to produce harmful content
- enter someone else's health data without their permission
We may suspend access to online features (backup [IF SHIPPED: and the assistant]) for anyone who breaks these rules.
AI allowance [IF SHIPPED]. The assistant and photo scans come with a daily and monthly allowance that covers normal personal use; a free trial includes a smaller one. If you reach it, the app tells you when it resets, and logging, barcodes and food search keep working.
6. Subscriptions and free trial
PepBloom needs a subscription to use. Apple handles all payments.
- Plans. PepBloom Pro is offered as a yearly plan or a monthly plan. The app shows each plan's price before you buy, and Apple charges it in your local currency. The plan you tap is the plan you're billed for.
- Free trial. New subscribers get a 7-day free trial. Apple allows one free trial per Apple ID. PepBloom reminds you on your phone 2 days before the trial ends. When the trial ends, Apple charges the price of the plan you picked unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
- Auto-renewal. Your subscription renews automatically at the same price and length unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the current period ends. Apple charges your Apple ID within the 24 hours before each renewal.
- Cancel anytime in iPhone Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you paid for. Deleting the app or your PepBloom account doesn't cancel the subscription.
- Refunds are handled by Apple under Apple's rules, at reportaproblem.apple.com. We can't issue refunds ourselves.
- Price changes. If we raise prices, people already subscribed keep their current price for as long as they stay subscribed. Apple will tell you about any change to your subscription and ask for your agreement where required.
- When a subscription ends, your data stays on your phone and you can still export it.
7. Changes to PepBloom and these terms
We may add, change or remove features. We won't move a feature you're paying for behind a higher price. If we change these terms in a way that matters, we'll tell you in the app before the change applies. If you keep using PepBloom after that, the new terms apply.
8. No warranty
PepBloom is provided "as is". We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we can't promise it will be error-free, always available, or right for your situation. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for health outcomes from decisions about your medication. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for PepBloom in the 12 months before the claim, or US$100, whichever is more. Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or any liability that can't be limited by law. Some states and countries don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.
10. Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules, and the courts of Istanbul (Çağlayan) have jurisdiction. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring claims in your local courts or, in Türkiye, before consumer arbitration boards. Before filing anything, email us at support@[DOMAIN] and give us 30 days to try to fix it.
11. Ending these terms
You can stop using PepBloom at any time by deleting your data and the app (and cancelling your subscription with Apple). We may end these terms if you break them; you can still export your data first.
12. The community [IF SHIPPED]
The community is optional. To join, you sign in with Apple, choose a pseudonym and agree to our Community Guidelines, which are part of these terms. You have to agree before you can post, comment or vote.
Zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. You may not post:
- anything that sells, buys, trades or sources peptides, medications or other substances, including asking where to get them, naming sellers, sharing a seller's prices, discount codes or links
- medical advice presented as fact, like telling someone to stop a medication or that something cures a condition
- dosing protocols: telling others what dose, schedule, mix or stack to take. Sharing your own experience is fine
- harassment, threats, hate, sexual content, spam, or anything that encourages self-harm
- personal information, yours or anyone else's, including contact details, links and social media handles
Other members aren't your doctor, and nothing in the community is medical advice. Section 2 applies to everything you read there.
Moderation. Every post and comment is checked before other members see it: first by automated rules and an AI model (Claude, by Anthropic), then by a person whenever the check isn't sure. We may refuse, hide or remove any content that breaks these terms or the Community Guidelines. We review every report and act on it within 24 hours.
Warnings and bans. If you break the rules, we may remove what you posted, warn you, or permanently remove your community access (a ban), with or without a warning first. A ban takes down everything you posted. It doesn't affect your subscription or the rest of PepBloom.
Appeals. If you think we got a removal, warning or ban wrong, email support@[DOMAIN] within 6 months of the decision with "Appeal" in the subject. We look at it again, and we answer within 3 days. If we got it wrong, we lift the ban or warning, and restore a removed post where we can.
Reporting and blocking. You can report any post, comment or member from the app, and block any member. When you block someone, their posts and comments disappear for you at once, and yours for them.
What you post. You keep ownership of what you write. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, show and moderate it inside PepBloom for as long as it's posted. You can delete your posts and comments at any time. Only post what you have the right to share.
If someone is in danger, call your local emergency number (911 in the US, 112 in Türkiye). If you're thinking about hurting yourself, call or text 988 in the US, or your local crisis line. If a post suggests someone may be in immediate danger, we may contact them or emergency services, as our Privacy Policy explains.
